I first want to thank Dr. Stoll for taking the time to read and comment on my questions on herbal breast growth. I am still a little concerned about what I'm doing.
Three weeks ago I began taking "Bust Plus" an herbal capsule that claimed to grow at least an additional cup size of breast tissue. Each capsule is a 500mg blend of Saw Palmeto, Damiana, Dong Quai, Dandelion Root, Blessed Thistle, Red Raspberry, Senna, Wild Yam, and Kava Kava. I take 8 of these a day as is their recommendation. I also take 2 500mg capsules per day of Fenugreek extract as the company I purchased Bust Plus from recommended supplementing the program with Fenugreek.
I want to clarify that I have nothing to do with this company, and I was EXTREMELY skeptical of this whole thing. But I was willing to try. They offer a money back guarantee, etc.
During the first week my breasts felt very sore, worse than they did before I get my period. But the second week I felt nothing at all. This week, I am noticing growth. My breasts are firmer and "wider" and my usual bras feel tight now. I measured my chest today and I am now 3/4 of an inch larger than I was before I began.
They say to stay on this program for at least 3 months so I will continue, but I wanted to report that at least for me, this herbal program appears to be working. It's fascinating to me actually.

Sounds good to me! First one I ever heard, getting pos- results. Think you could accomplish the same just using fenugreek tho. It was given to harem women in ancient Greece. See recipe in book "The Green Pharmacy" by Dr. James Duke.(avail- at library)

I must confess that I am "fascinated" as well. It will be interesting to see what you are experiencing in 6 months--> in 6 years. Do the directions say anything about having to keep it up to maintain the effect?
It will be at least 20-30 years before ANYONE knows if this will ingrease the incidence of cancer or other breast pathology. I think you are pretty brave to participate in such an unregulated experiment on your own body.
You might read some of the research articles about how this same effect (that you have noticed so far) can be accomplished by self-hypnosis. I know of a number I read about 20 years ago. I wish, now, that I had kept the articles for you.
Finally, there are a few articles, much more recent (about 10 years ago) about multiple personality patients and dramatic physiological differences existing between the different personalities WITHIN THE SAME BODIES. One personality would have diabetes and another not, one would have arthritis and another not, one would have hypertension and another not, one would need glasses and another not, one would have high cholesterol and another not, one would have multiple sclerosis and another not, one would have psoriasis and another not, etc.
The point is that our minds have a MUCH greater influence on our bodies than anyone can yet imagine. You desperately want this to work for you. Also, you would feel gullible and taken advantage of if it did not. This is a perfect setup for your subconscious mind to produce exactly what you have experienced so far. 20-30 years from now, when any possible "chickens come home to roost" for you, the company will likely have taken its profits and disappeared so you would not even have the recourse of suing them for any damage.
I am painting the worst possible scenario for you so you will have at least some idea of what you may be risking for vanity alone.
I hope you will take this in the spirit in which it is being offered.

i just wanted to add that chinese medicine recognizes in some specifc terms just what Dr Stoll is talking about.
we can create our own vital energy within us. we can absolutely drive our own yin and yang...expansion and contraction...We just usually leave control of it to factors outside of us, but we dont have to. these are central concepts recorded in the I-Chin, the first WRITTEN record of chinese medical principles.
such forces are responsible, in chinese terms, for more common expansions and contractions like those of the eye ball in near sightedness and far sightedness.

I was wondering if you,ve had further results with Bust Plus. I've been taking my own combo of fenugreek, wild yam, saw palmetto and fennel for awhile now. But with no results.
