Probiotics / Deep Breathing / Exercise

Posted by S.H.A.P.E. on March 23, 2001 at 11:22:09:

Hi Folks:
Now we are ready to add the final piece of the puzzle in order to put our Candida/Leaky Gut into remission and regain our life and health back.
PROBIOTICS:
We have previously healed our Leaky Gut with Stress Reduction / Tonic Supreme Concentrate / Intestinal Healing Supplements. We must now proceed to reestablishing our Friendly Bacteria - which will once again - allow us to keep our Yeast problem Under Control. You can test your probioitics by taking a double/triple dose. If it causes gas - then it is a good one. Here is a list of Probiotic Supplements that I have found to produce great results: Flora Source $30 Ph.: 1-724-935-1847; Eugalan Forte $13 Ph.: 1-800-223-1216; Enterogenic Concentrate and/or Pro-Flora Concentrate by Tyler Ph.: 1-800-869-9705. I would suggest that you continue to take the probiotics for a period of three months and then every other month for maintenance. I would also suggest, at this point in the program, to include Sweet Whey Powder into your diet. It is great for improving Colon Health and it promotes the growth of Friendly Flora. It also provides the body with Minerals/Electrolytes. To order: Sweet Whey Powder Product No. BJ-1043 $5 Ph.: 1-800-223-1216; Capra Mineral Whey Powder 25.4 oz $31 Ph.: 1-888-785-0154. Continue to Colon Cleanse (as needed) in order to produce the Perfect Bowel Movement and Muscle Test everything before consuming it.
DEEP BREATHING:
The majority of the population are only using one-third of their Lung Capacity due to Shallow Breathing habits. The other two-thirds of the Lungs are Inflamed/Diseased and are "wasting away". Notice how you are breathing "Right Now" - is it in the upper chest? Is your chest hardly moving in and out as you inhale/exhale? Can you even feel the breath moving in your chest area? When we breath in this shallow almost non-existent manner, very little Oxygen enters our Lungs and even less enters our internal body/organs where it is needed the most. Due to the many stress factors in our fast-paced world, we have deviated from proper breating patterns. When we were infants our breathing was low in our abdominal area which filled our Lungs to their full capacity. (FYI: Cancer cannot exist in an Oxygen-Rich environment). Practice breathing (first thing in the morning). "CAUTION" - Be sure to approach these "deep breathing exercises" gently - as forcing too much air - too fast and too hard - can cause small blood vessels to rupture. Start by breathing high in your chest as you inhale - and on the completion of your exhale, "suck-in" your abdomen expelling OUT two more small puffs of exhaled air. These last two puffs empty your lungs more completely of the remaining stale air. Then inhale deeply into your chest and notice how much more oxygen you can take in. Repeat this type of breathing - but, this time breathe in lower and -GENTLY- fill your adbominal area on your inhale (like filling up a balloon) then exhale completely as before with the two final outward puffs. Start out slowly with only one or two sets of each. Two complete high in the chest inhales/exhales with two puffs - then two complete low in the abdomen inhales/exhales with two puffs. Work your way slowly up to ten of each - once or twice a day.
EXERCISE:
We need to exercise our bodies and keep moving even if doing so causes us pain. Without movement our bodies/muscles will start "wasting away". I have personally seen many people with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) just lay down and give-up. With RA the less you move - the greater the chance of permanent joint damage and loss of motion. Walk on a Treadmill or jump on a small indoor Trampoline - but keep moving! Slow Stretching exercies are great too - as in Chinese Movements TAI-CHI / FALUN-GONG / QI-GONG.
Got to go for now - watch for from S.H.A.P.E. Subject:
Chakra Balancing / Final Thoughts / Suggestions. Thanks!

Some other intestinal flora rebuilder products include: Probioplex by metagenics, Nature's Biotics, Ultra Flora from Metagenics, and a relatively new probiotic to store shelves called L. Salivarius. This guy can multiply into billions of colonies in a few hours and has the ability to eat up putrefaction. L.Plantarum is another which acts in the same way. Both of these help to acidify the colon. Take care everyone.

Why shouldn't breathing be shallow at reat ?? Wouldn't
that be like a car on fast idle Aall the time ?? I wouldn't
think lungs were diseased unless they were. You mean deep
breathing will help this ?? I would think if they were
diseased you would be gasping for air. I can see breathing
deeply when doing something physical since we need the
extra O2. I Guess if somone is bedridden they should Work
their lungs.

I heard that wemen and men breathe differently because of
anatomy or some such.

There was a writeup today in Women's World magazine about deep breathing(this week's copy). It says you can lose weight doing this as well because it oxyginates the blood and tissues.

Also--I made up the "tonic" today--WHOOWEEEEE is that potant!! Very HOT stuff!
Thanks for the recipe!

All animals except for birds have sort of a "defective" respiratory system. In a bird's lungs, there are two openings -- one for breathing in new air and the other for evacuating used air. Because of these two openings, a bird never circulates used air throughout its body.

All other animals, though(humans included), just have one opening for breathing in and breathing out. What this means is that any air that isn't breathed out will probably get circulated through your body along with the new air you just breathed in. I don't know if this is necessarily bad for the body, but I can see where S.H.A.P.E. is coming from when he says to breath deeply. I don't see how ridding your lungs of all the used air could be a BAD thing.

I am learning new things. I Didn't know that birds have a
seperate inlet and out let for breathing. Since they are
a Lot more sensitive than other animals i would think that
might be a liability.

I know we don't exhale all the air in our lungs even at
max breathing but didn't know it circulated through our
bodies and just O2 exchanged with the blood did and if there
wasn't enough for the activities being done that the
breathing deepened or the rate increased. I think you get
light headed from hyperventilating.

Having had a problem with shortness of breath that seems
like it was a muscle weakness or paralysis problem from a
chem exposure injury that burned my lungs I am always
interested in what happened and how to solve it and if
anything else could have happened like pulminary
hypertension. I think my Large lung capacity may have helped
or maybe hurt in the situation though I would like to think
it helped. Being one that was Never affraid to breathe and
liked the high I got from physical activities I don't see
why it is necessary to push breathing while just siting
here typing and enjoy the shallow breathing since anything
more would be uncomfortable as would shallow breathing while
doing something.

Oops, I wasn't really thinking when I wrote that. Come to think of it, I think that you're right. The old air doesn't actually get circulated throughout your body, you just can't take in as much oxygen because the old air is taking up space in your lungs. Sorry about that. I'll try not to write in a near-comatose state again.

We all try to write when incombered. I just got rudely
awakened and trying o post.

I Think that way they figure pulminary function tests is
how much air you can inhale and then how much stays in when
exhaling and the gas exchange when breathing a Large amount
so the tester is like a cheerleader egging you on.

I was told I had lungs like a trained athelete and they
never saw #'s so good and I was gasping for air and falling
off the stool with their pushing me.
