I know this thirteen year old, who played football and fell and injured his knee a little bit, and now he has what they call a calcium deposit forming( it is a pretty good size bump.) My question is this, What can he do to get this calcium deposit to go away? Can he take a magnesium supplement? Will it help it go away? It does hurt at times and when he bumps it, it hurts really bad.
Thanks
very much
Charity

Hi, Charity.
At his age, this is still curable.
Start with the archives about this and then go to a good sports medicine specialist to get her advice.
Let us know what you learn.
In the meantime only underwater exercises for him!
