For the past 8 months I have these white spots, that look like dry patches, on the back of my knees. Now they seem to be spreading. A friend has told me that I need to take calcium tablets. My pharmacist has told me that they are calciun deposits and I have added 1000 mg of calium to my diet twice a day. Is this the right thing to do, and could someone please tell me how I can get rid of these embarassing white spots.
I am hoping someone will respond!!!!

I SERIOUSLY doubt that they are "calcium deposits". See a good dermatologist & gert a biopsy.
THEN, let me know the exact diagnosis. I likely will have alternative options to conventional medicine to deal with them.
