Re: Calcium Deposits - Question for Dr Stoll

I have been diagnosed with a large calcium deposit on my bicept tendon. I suffer 24/7 with pain. The pain is especially bad at night. I cannot sleep on the shoulder with the deposit. I was told by doctor that they would have to scrape the bone above the tendon to give it more room to move. Isn't there a laser surgery of some sort that can get rid of the calcium itself. If not, is there something that I can take that will get rid of the calcium. The pain, I can't take anymore.

I too have been diagonsed with calcium growths in the shoulder and tendons. I too can not sleep at night or move my shoulder much due to the pain. I am on the UK NHS waiting list for surgery to remove the deposits but the pain is so bad that paracetamol does not stop the pain. What is the best remedy to stop the pain/pain relief/drugs.

Thanks

Dear Sean,

Were I you, at this point, I would see a Rolfer in consultation, a Chiropractor AND a teacher of self-hypnosis. At least you could get pain relief. It sounds like you would be years dissolving these deposits by doing what you will have to do anyhow to prevent this from happening again.

If you have trouble finding these specialists in your area, let me know.

Let the bb participants know how you do.

Walt

Dear Debbie,

Was this caused, originally, by trauma?

Once a deposit gets this large, it becomes a self-perpetuating process. At that point, surgical removal is the only thing I know of to give you a fresh start. If this was caused by trauma, likely just not doing it again will be enough. If not, you will need to know what you have to change to prevent recurrence.

your comment about colloidal minerals is true. I was a New Vision distributor and have since been educated. I'm with a new company now, founded by the world's leading expert on human cellular nutrition (Dr. Myron Wentz, Ph.D. Microbiology and Immunology and founder of Gull Laboratories) they make triple chelated minerals (and vitamins and antioxidants) which is the most bioavailble form of minerals and trace elements, and they have done miracles on nearly everyone I have recommended them to- including me. Check out their website at www.usana.com then contact me at eagles@afweb.comm or 505-377-2928.

Dear Tracy,

Thanks! Is the website usana.com the best way to get this information specifically or is it best from your 'site at eagles@afweb.com? Michael Jacobson has been discussing USANA with me for 2 years & I have not spent enough time to adequately evaluate their products. Shame on me! Perhaps your stimulus will finally get me going.

Namaste` Walt
