Cancer Victors is a volunteer community service organization founded in 1962 by Cecile Hoffman, herself a cancer patient, for the purpose of informing and supporting interested persons who want to learn more about natural, non-toxic remedies and practices.

Over the years our members have been taught, through experience, that no one is ever too close to death to rule out complete recovery.

Time and again individuals who were medically declared terminal and not expected to live through the night were, in fact, still alive 10 years later.

On the other hand, we have found no reliable short cuts to getting well from serious illness like cancer.

Regardless of how ill you are, you have many powerful resources available to you.
We suggest that any of the following are excellent starters:

BOOKS

"An Alternative Medicine Definitive Guide to Cancer" by the Goldberg Group. The first 23 chapters are each written by a different physician. Part II discusses the criteria for successful cancer treatment. Part III is "A Complete Guide to Innovative Approaches to Cancer Treatment." It seems to be readily available, or it may be ordered by calling 800-333-HEAL.

"Options: The Alternative Cancer Therapy Book" by Richard Walters. Avery Publishing Group. 1-800-548-5757.

"A Cancer Therapy: Results of Fifty Cases and The Cure of Advanced Cancer by Diet Therapy" by Max Gerson, M.D. Published by the Gerson Institute, P.O. Box 430, Bonita, California 91908-0430 (619) 585-7600.

"Third Opinion: An International Directory to Alternative Therapy Centers for the Treatment and Prevention of Cancer and other Degenerative Diseases" by John Fink. Published by Avery Publishing Group. 1-800-548-5757.

"Why Suffer? The Answer? Wheatgrass, God's Manna" by Ann Wigmore. A more recent publication by Ann is "The Wheatgrass Book: How to Grow and Use Wheatgrass to Maximize your Health and Vitality". Avery Publishing Group. 1-800-548-5757.

"Cancer Winner: How I Purged Myself of Melanoma" by Jaquie Davison. Power Press, Kingman, AZ 86401. Web: jaquiedavison@live.com.

VIDEOS

Any or all videos by Lorraine Day, M.D., are vitally informative and encouraging. Call 1-800-574-2437.

She had breast cancer but spared herself from surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Instead she treated herself with natural, non-toxic remedies and approaches.

Several videos on the Gerson Therapy are available by calling (619) 585-7600. Their videos on "Doing the Therapy at Home" are very good.
