Hello,
The typical medical establishment's answer to a cancer diagnosis is cut, burn, or poison. (Or all 3)
Here is what they did for my sister:
1. 8 rounds of chemo which put her cancer into "remission" for a whopping total of 3 months.
2. During those 3 months the damage done to her immune system and side effects of the toxic chemo they gave her caused her cancer to be back 5 times as bad as initially diagnosed. Success!!!!
3. Give 4 more HEAVY doses of more toxic poisons after telling her the only option for a "cure" is a bone marrow transplant.
4. After 4 months, as she got sicker and sicker from the chemo, and her hair fell out again, they said, "OK, now it is time to START looking for a donor"
5. After finding out that both of her sisters weren't matches, they went to the Registry and took 4 more months to find 1 donor who only matched 8 out of 10 criteria. Her survival chances with a perfect 10 out of 10 match would have been 40%.
6. Go ahead and do the transplant anyway. Even though their track record for an 8 out of 10 match was 0% survival. What the hell, it may work, she may survive and then we'll be heroes.
7. During pre-transplant work up, determine that the chemo drugs used have damaged her kidneys and her heart. These will seriously reduce her odds of surviving the transplant.
8. Do the transplant anyway.
9. Admit her to the hospital for 3 more days of INTENSE chemo to kill off all of her bone marrow.
10. 3 Days of INTENSE total body irradiation.
11. Inject donor cells.
12. Inject as many other drugs as possible to try to keep her alive as her skin begins to burn, her insides practically melt, her kidneys shut down, her liver develops blood clots, her body fills with fluid, her lungs can't work anymore and she has to be intubated, she goes on dialysis, she bleeds.
13. Consider transferring her to a burn unit from the MASSIVE radiation burns covering her entire body.
14. Make her so unrecognizable with their treatments that her own sister insisted that they had the wrong patient. That was not my sister lying there.
15. Watch as her beautiful black curls, that finally came back in after months of chemo, fall out again.
16. Tell her family there is still a chance she could pull through and we should keep her on life support.
17. Have one compassionate doctor cry with us on the phone and tell us that the other doctors are lying and she is the sickest patient he has EVER had and keeping her alive is the cruelest thing he has ever seen.
18. Watch as her family holds her, but not too tightly because her skin is literally falling off of her.
19. Sign the death certificate stating that she died of lymphoma.
THE END
Thank you medical establishment. Thank you greedy pharmaceutical companies. My three nephews just lost their mother, my mother has to bury her daughter, a husband lost his wife, and me and my sister lost our oldest sister. But you made millions off of her.
May she rest in peace.
