I have been having some symptoms with my heart that lead me to go and see a cardiologist. I went through a treadmill test & ultrasound. I was diagnosed with the usual mild MVP with mild regurgitation.
The symptoms went away for a while, but every now and then I get some wierd things going on. My pulse right now is only 55. When I really get going in aerobics class it shoots up to 184. Right now it feels like my heart is flipping all over the place. I can go for a few weeks and not have any symptoms and then all of a sudden I'll have a really bad day like today. It also feels like there is a bubble in my chest.
I am eating well (not perfect), exercising regularly & doing the brain sync CD's. I am not regular on the brain sync CD's. I am not a well conditioned athlete, so the heartbeat thing worries me a little. My regular blood pressure runs about 90/58. I've cleared up all my other problems with wellsness except this. Besides really focusing on wellness, do you think I have anything to worry about?

You might want to try magnesium. I was having really severe pvc's. went to my regular doc, and he found nothing so I tried magnesium. You might want to search the archives here. It was a great help and within a week they went from taking my breath away to barely noticeable.

Hi DonnaE, interesting to hear someone else writing about this issue. I have experienced the same thing after doing the step machine for 30 mins. The first time it happened it really scared me. As long as I keep at 15 mins on each machine my heart is fine.

Donna,
Listen to Sally, Barb & Calahan.
Have you yet had your SR technique certified with biofeedback? You may be wasting your time with that.
Also, I see nothing wrong with either your BP OR your pulse. I would remind you, however, that the most efficient use of exercise is 20 minutes 3 time a week of aerobic exercise. Use the rest of the time you are spending, exercising, cleaning up your SR practice.

No, I haven't had it certified, but I think I will look into that. I actually know that SR is the last and most important piece that I need to get under control. (Diet & exercise are the easy part!) Since you just verified what all the doctor's have told me, it just solidifies what I already knew. Plus, I've been going through a TON of emotional stuff, so it doesn't surprise me that I will have a few physical symptoms for things I am not handling well. In any case, the symptoms are gone today and I feel great.
I just want to thank you again for being there. You freed me from bad health, pointed my life in a different direction and just really opened me up to life. What you are doing for people really, really counts. Thank God I stumbled across your information.
BTW, You're new book is awesome. I bought three copies and put one in my business waiting room for customers to read. One already disappeared, which is what I put it out there for. I hope it does someone good.
Thanks everyone else for your comments & resources, they were very helpful. The art site is really cute.

Thanks, DonnaE.
Exactly what we are trying to do here and why we wrote the book.
Good luck and let us know what you learn.
