Hi Everyone,
Walt asked me to post the following message.
Best wishes,
Jan
Some people have been wondering the reason for my sabbatical and how my health is doing. I would like to give everyone an update.
As most of you know, I have been working on two books, one with Kathleen Diehl which is an update of my first book, "Saving Yourself from the Disease Care Crisis," and one with Jan (Happygal) about the Three-Legged Stool, called "Recapturing Health." The latter is almost complete, but the update of my first book needs some time and attention right now in order to finish it. It has gotten to the place where I could not spend hours on the website and also finalize the book, so I have opted to take a few weeks to focus my energies on completing the book. This is the main reason for the sabbatical. I also have some personal matters requiring my attention at this time.
About my health condition, my tolerance for activity is gradually reducing to the place where minimal exertion can precipitate angina. Nitro still relieves the pain, thank goodness! My vision is also dimming due to my long standing diabetes. I have been using larger print which helps a lot and will visit a retinal specialist tomorrow.
In my absence from the BB, I appreciate all the help that everyone gives each other.
Walt Stoll

Hi Jan:
Thanks so much for the update. The posters here do want to know how Dr. Stoll is doing. I wish him the best.
Perhaps it might be helpful for Dr. Stoll if we could all refrain from posting negative comments to one another. Although I don't think he'd mind the jokes and the pleasantries....they're kind of funny, and maybe even healing...Well, it's just a suggestion.

It was very thoughtful of Walt to have you post this for him, Jan. I know we were all wondering how he was doing.
I'm glad he is working on his books. My son has diabetes and has had eye problems associated with it. He has had several treatments for this, and I worry that it will get worse even though he takes excellent care of himself.
Diabetes is a terrible disease to have, especially after the person has had it for years. Thanks for posting this.
I know we will all continue to pray for his complete recovery and happiness.

Thanks, Jan. I was indeed wondering how Walt was doing. Please give him my best and may his spirit be strong.
All my best wishes,
Naya

Please let Walt know that his inspiration is what drives
the board even in his absence. And I look forward to him
achieving a healing breakthrough using natural methods in
the very near future.

Dr. Broda Barnes claimed the health problems commonly resulting from diabetes are actually the result of slightly low thyroid. His method of determining clinical hypothyroidism uses a mercury, not electronic (inaccurate), oral thermometer to take the oral temperature for 10 minutes before the patient gets out of bed first thing in the morning. Normal range is 97.8 to 98.2. Lower temperatures call for a trial of desiccated thyroid (Armour). His book is available at www.amazon.com. I consider it a must read for anyone interested in their health. The Barnes diet causes weight loss of 1-2 pounds weekly without it showing in the face.

Thanks, Jan.
Do you happen to know if Walt took a full series of chelation treatments? The last I heard, he was ordering the supplies to self-administer them. I would have thought that the chelation would have turned the heart problem around.
Thanks,
Mary

Walt has been recommending the thermometer method for years. But perhaps he hasn't done it for himself lately.

Thank you, Jan. I think completing his life work is his passion and will be the best "medicine" for him right now. My hope is that he enjoys each day in any way he chooses. He's left a wonderful legacy on this board even if he never posts another message. I know there will be a new "tomorrow" for him one day.

Thanks, Mary.
Remember chelation takes a year after the series to have at least most of the benefits. I have given myself 45 treatments so far, the last one about a week ago.
My cardiologist does not understand why I am doing so well. He fully expected me to die in the emergency room.

Thanks, Jon & Sally.
I checked my basal temperature and recorded it,daily, for 3 months after the attack. Orally it ranged from 97.8 to 98.4.

Thanks, PhillyLady, for your suggestions. You are so right!
My eye appointment went better than expected. Maybe because it was a woman eye surgeon :o). I am not yet bad enough for surgery and she recommended a re-examination in a year. I am to continue wearing the dark glasses. "Cool!"
Since I was caught up with the books, and was feeling better, I have tried to respond to one day's queries today.
Namaste` to all who responded.

Hi walt
Glad to see you doing so much better (eyesight), even if it was bcause of a woman. hehehe.
That reminds me of my grandfather. He was always telling us how BAD his eyesight was, and how hecouldnt see this or that.
EXCEPT! EXCEPT! when there were pretty women around, espcially on tele, then miracle of miracles, his eyesight would improve incredibly, his eyes would grow huge, and he could see those women as clear as day! lol We always use to kid him about that.
Good ole grandad, may he RIP.
