Dr Stoll,

You answered my post about blocked arteries yesterday. My odds don't look so great. A friend was telling me that Chelation Therapy cleans out the arteries. I am willing to try anything at this point. Have you heard of that? Also, someone else posted on here that chewing tobacco is beneficial to circutlation. That sounds crazy. Just looking for any help I can get at this point. Thank you!!

Lisa, I don't know if Walt will answer this today but use the search box with the red banner. Walt's mother had chelation years ago and he saw the great benefit from it. I think you need many treatments though.

Lisa,

I DO have extensive experince with Chelation. Your problem is pretty far advanced to resolve with chelation although it likely would extend your interval between stents, IMO. At least it could not hurt to try. See the archives and the home page article about Chelation.

Personally I think that people who chose chelation therapy are probably trying all kinds of other "alternative" theories at the same time, such as garlic and cinnamon and vitamin D and exercise, so it's impossible to say just what treatment, or combination of treatments, is really doing the trick.

Thanks, samm.

I do eat a lot of eggs, though.
