lead is back`

Posted by Judy Lannigan on February 19, 1999 at 21:50:40:

Dear Dr Stoll,I have been doing everything humanly possible to recover from MS. After 4 years I now feel defeated! My latest problem is lead. I discovered I had lead toxiicity 1 year ago. I went through 5 mos of chelation and after a 24 hr urine test found it was gone. Now after 6 mos, I had a blood test that showed that 2/3 was back! How could this be? My water is being tested as we speak. I know that lead settles in the bones. Could it be that more lead has leached out of my bones. How could I have gotten so much back so fast. I have questioned the reliability of my tests and my doc stands behind them. They were done at the Great Smokies labs in Ashville. Help me! I am close to giving up. Judy
PS remember all the problems I had sleeping? Well I stopped taking melatonin and valerian, still do SR and am sleeping like a baby.

Hi, Judy.

Don't give up! You already know that you are moving in the right direction. Just because you still haven't seen the view over the top of the mountain is no reason for you to doubt that it is there!

I am glad to hear that you are tracking the lead. Although it COULD be coming from your bones, the likelyhood is that the lead exposure is coming from somewhere that, as yet, no one knows about. You may have to move before anyone finds it.

One of the things that the entire world agrees about about MS is that "heavy metals" contribute to not only MS but ALL chronic degenerative neurological conditions.

Keep us informed.

Walt

Dear Judy,

Lead (or any other heavy metal pollutant) is exactly that: a pollutant. The source of that pollutant can be hard to find. If it is not found quickly (with your condition), if it were me, I would move.

Walt
