Hi Dr. Stoll,
For about 3 months now, when I lay down and turn my head to the left, I get so dizzy. If I turn it to the right I'm ok. I had whiplash 7 years ago and still suffer from neck problems, but never this kind of probem. I also wake up with numb hands and sometimes feet. I think this may be the neck thing again, but I'm concern about the dizzy spells. If I stand up or turn over I'm ok. Just that left side. Do I need a MRI? I read that the ears sometimes can form crystals in them, and the body things your on a roller coaster so therefore you become dizzy until these so called crystals are gone. Can I put hydrogen perioxde in my ear to see if that helps? Thanks, Vicky

Hi, Vicky.
If I were you I would first see a Chiropractor with this story. Depending on your age it is remotely possible that this is vascular but with your history it is almost certainly a subluxation in your neck.
Let us know what you learn and how you do.
Walt

may I suggest that you get an X-ray if you go to the chiropractor?
