An Introduction (semi-long)

In early December 1999, I came across this site while surfing. I was very impressed with the information that Dr. Stoll was sharing and also with his insight into the true meaning of Health Care. I dropped him a short note to thank him and he replied back inviting me to participate in the Bulletin Board.

I would like this post to serve as both an introduction as to who I am and an explanation of what I do.

In 1984, I packed up my wife and 2 kids and moved to Atlanta, GA to go to chiropractic college. Prior to that, I had spent 11 years in the insurance business after serving a tour and a half in Vietnam.

Since High School I’ve had this desire to do something to “help people”. After having a very positive experience with chiropractic and its help in resolving my allergies,I decided that being a chiropractor would allow me to fulfill that desire. So we took the “vow of poverty” and moved to GA.

Halfway through school, I had one of those experiences that change your life; I went to a seminar by Dr. Carl Ferreri. Dr. Ferreri is the developer of a chiropractic protocol called Neural Organization Technique (N.O.T.). His concepts of how the body is organized made sense to me. He explained how sometimes life’s experiences cause us to get “stuck “ in a fight/flight survival mode (BRACING!). He used the analogy of the body operating like a computer. We have “programs” that protect us and keep us functioning. The eyes can operate as switches to access these programs (NLP). He developed protocols usingApplied Kinesiology, Sacral/Occipital Technique, Meridian Therapy and Craniopthy to isolate aberrations in these programs, and them to make the corrections necessary to allow the body to function normally.

I have seen “miracles” happen to people once These N.O.T. corrections are made. I keep doing it because people keep getting better.

In addition to learning N.O.T., I studied homeopathy and received diplomat status from the National Board of Homeopathic Examiners in 1991. I am still a student of homeopathy and its concepts. I do not bill myself as a classical homeopath, but, I do use remedies almost daily in my practice. If you get the correct remedy, the results can be amazing.

I have also been studying applied clinical nutrition for about 12 years. This uses vitamins, minerals, herbs
and glandulars to support the body in its quest to regain good health. I study the writings and teachings of
docs who use this in their own practices and get great results.

I have learned that you usually don’t hurt where you hurt and that most of what ails us is, in a way, self-inflicted. Poor choices of diet is the number one culprit. The second is the belief that health comes from outside the body. The ultimate determinent is the patients desire to do what he has to do to get better.

This Bulletin Board is a tremendous resource for those wishing to regain or maintain good health. I learn something each time I come here. I hope I can add a little of what I have learned over the last 15 or so years, but, I know I will leave with much more than I bring.

Hi Pam,

I am sorry to hear about your son. I don't know of any NOT docs, personally, in your area. I suggest you email Dr. Ferreri's office in Brooklyn. The email address is info@notint.com. His web site is below.

Good Luck,
Dr. Kim
