A personal experience with Chiropractic! Welcome back Walt!

I had a personal experience recently that reminded why I love what I do. I would like to share it with you.

About 4 weeks ago, I was struck with the symptoms of Meniere's disease. Severe vertigo that took me to the ground, loud "roaring in my ears and approx. 90% loss of hearing in my right ear. The vertigo was accompanied by nausea and I just didn't feel good at all.

I read all I could about this syndrome and the literature wasn't very encouraging about finding a cure. My wife ( who is the real brains of the family) suggested I go see my chiropractor.

I went to my friend Dr. Bill Karl and he treated me to a great adjustment. I left his office feeling much better and have not had a single symptom since.

The lesson in this story is that I, even being grounded in alternative care, was much too ready to except what "they" say. "They" only know so much and choose to ignore that which doesn't fit into their system.

I urge you to learn to question everything concerning your health. Conservative alternatives should be the first place to look. You can always subject yourself to drugs and surgery if the alternatives don't work.

Thank God for healers like Dr. Stoll who put truth ahead of dogma and people ahead of profits. I am glad your computer is feeling better (perhaps we can develop a form of "computer SR" to prevent this downtime in the future.

Namaste',

Dr. Kim

Thanks, Dr. Kim!

Your experience parallels mine. At this point, I would sooner die than go to a conventional physician for anything other than what I KNOW we MDs are good at.

My 'puter problem was a comedy of errors. First, a few months ago I had it in the shop for a new "A" drive. In retrospect the gradual deterioration of function started a couple of weeks later. When it finally just stopped working (2 weeks after the 5 year warrenty had run out--not renewable since the CAMPO company I bought it from was out of business), I had to take it to another repair shop.

They called me back the next day to tell me that they "couldn't find anything wrong with it"---the very worse thing that they could have said. Since I knew it was non-functional, this meant that someday the same thing would happen again.

SO, I went into the shop and insisted that the person who had worked on it sit down with me with the 'puter. I pushed him about "nothing being wrong" and he admitted to me that: "Well, there WAS a little piece of wire that had fallen down into the fan well and had stopped the fan."

The change in my habits of leaving the 'puter on all the time, associated with the fan not working, had the effect of the 'puter heating up and having no down time to cool off.

By my having it off to take it in, by the time he got to it it worked fine.

He told me that there are refrigerated covers now available that at least doubled the speed of any 'puter. Even he was a bit surprised that just this much heat could stop it working completely but it now has been a few days and my 'puter works at least as good as it ever did.

Thanks for asking.

Walt
