Hello everyone,
I'm happy to say my chondromalacia is gone! One day I suddenly noticed that when I go down the stairs, my left knee doesn't make the loud grinding noise that it used to make. I figured out what made the chondromalacia go away -- it was 4 months of once a week yoga classes.
I'm thrilled!
Best wishes,
Jan

Good news, Jan. It might be the yoga, might not be. Mine went away too,
and I don't take yoga. The thing about practicing wellness (experimenting on
yourself) is it is hard to know what is working when you do (and take)
multiple, overlapping stuff...and as you've often said, what works for one
doesn't necessarily work for another.
Doesn't matter though. Today the knee, tomorrow the tummy! Keep moving
forward.
Jim

Hi Happygal,
I had chronic back pain that wasn't related to my RA, and completely eliminated it with yoga and stretching. I've found that if I don't do yoga at least a few times a week, the pain returns. A great fix in my book. Really glad to hear you're doing so well!
