Political posts

Hi,

I find that most of the BB posts about political stuff is too vague and unclear for me to know what to do, or it takes to long to read and understand, or it seems like it would be too time-consuming to figure out who to contact, etc. Or, when the issues are still current and when they are not. It makes me tired just thinking about it, so usually I don't do anything.

So I encourage people who post about political topics to make it really simple for those of us who don't know much about politics. Briefly summarize the lengthy legal stuff, then give simple, step-by-step instructions. For example, when someone says, "Contact your representative or senators" they should be clear if they are talking about the national ones or the state ones. Giving contact information would be most helpful and a way to find out local phone numbers so it's not a toll call. Also, tell us what to say in exact words, and when it needs to happen.

I am always glad when someone can summarize an issue in one or two sentences. Saves lots of time and is very clear.
