It is sad that just now the supplement industry is waking up.
Perhaps they think a blast at the last is the way to impress the legislators. A risky policy, in my opinion.
However, it does give us one more chance to make a difference.

Thanks for putting this out here. This was one of the easiest ways to send a petition that I have ever found.
I use many NOW products because of their cost and quality and I am happy to see that they are doing something to keep their products available to us without interference from the government.
I have been looking for your posts and sending responses via the sites you use as a link whenever I can.

Thanks MaryC....I used to think that petitions were
ridiculous, but they are actually better than writing your
politicians. The phone call works better than the email
as well. I really hope and pray that this doesn't pass. It
is becoming more and more difficult for me to have
hope.
I wrote the Senators basically asking if they were truly
trying to kill us. First they legalize everything bad under
the sun...fast food, cigarettes, alcohol, chemicals,
.......................etc...then they want control of the very thing
that MIGHT give us a chance to control the damage? (Of
course I know this is about money).
My letters were very direct and basically fairly
threatening in terms of people being "up in arms". I
asked them if they actually were ready for lawsuit after
lawsuit in terms of helping to commit murder by
withholding necessary supplements in order to keep
our bodies healthy....of course I said much more. I
know they think it is ridiculous, but they have to know
that people are willing to fight for their freedoms. And,
there is truth is what I said about them being willing to
kill people. They just won't allow themselves to see it
this way. They are so used to us being apathetic that
they blow us off and do what they want. I believe that
this is our last chance to wake up and fight for our
rights. It is a little late, but one last attempt....and a
huge driving force is needed. I used to think that being
polite and politically correct would be the way to catch
the fly, but a jolt is what is needed for these people that
have been walking the zombie walk for so many years.
I am sure that many of them actually believe that what
they are doing is just fine. How they can live in that
frame of mind, I just don't get it.
Thanks for doing your part MaryC. I do believe that
every single person makes a difference. I just wish
everyone believed this!!

One more chance Walt...I can't give up until I see this go
under and somewhere deep down i guess I believe
that it will not change. I just have to try. I hope
everyone goes for the throat on this. I know it sounds
awful, but I really do. We need our freedom.
