Last Ditch Help Necessary to Save Supplement Industry from Destruction

On January 30th, the Alliance for Natural Health will be in the High Court of Justice in London, UK in a bid to overturn the European Union Food Supplement Directive.

This lawsuit has HUGE global implications due to how the EU Food Supplements Directive threatens to impact a global vitamin standard under (ahem!) "development" at the UN's Codex Alimentarius Commission.

You may wonder why the dietary supplement industry is not getting behind this lawsuit. The fact is that pharmaceutical interests are dominating the dietary supplement trade associations world wide, ESPECIALLY in the USA, and the wool has been pulled over the eyes of their memberships regarding Codex and related harmonization issues including the EU Food Supplement Directive. Hi,

I have already contributed donations to this. I am in the UK. I have also written to my MP, Tony Blair and also the health Minister for the Uk. I got a crap letter back saying thank you for my interest, but no information on what they plan to do.

My letter said how many people rely on supplements and that this legislation would put many alternative practitioners out of business if they cannot "prescribe" supplements.

The whole thing stinks!
