Senator Durbin is atempting to attach an amendment to the Defense Budget
bill today. This is an underhanded attempt to undermine our health rights.

URGENT! THE SENATE COULD VOTE ON THIS AMENDMENT AS EARLY AS 5PM TODAY.

Speficially, the Durbin amendment will:

*hold dietary supplements to a higher level of scrutiny than prescription
drugs, over-the-counter drugs and food additives

*undermine key elements of DSHEA and lead to reduced access to beneficial
dietary supplements.

*DSHEA gives the FDA ample authority to regulate dietary supplements.
