I had a similar reaction when I tried the enemas at night. I got so energized that I was up doing things. It was so great to FINALLY have energy, I didn't mind losing sleep. But then, when it happened the 2nd night, I felt sleep deprived.
Soooo, now I do the enemas first thing in the morning. It is a great way to get me going, and my body seems to follow a more natural energy rhythm, winding down at night.
I still have trouble falling asleep some nights, but have found that if I ease into it, doing restful things like reading before turning the lights out (instead of working at my computer or doing paperwork, etc.), my body gradually gets the idea that it's sleep time. I take melatonin also. Not sure if it helps or not.
By the way, for me, being an ex-caffeine addict, the energized effect is much different than what I experienced with taking caffeine orally. This isn't a jittery, shaky kind of energized. For me it is more of a natural energy.
Good Luck!

Thanks, Kai.
Many of my patients have reported a similar experience. Those who know say that this is the immediate effect of removing some of the toxic effect of the environmental stresses. Imagine how it must have felt to function 200 years ago.
