My three year old daughter is suffering from stoll withholding and I have been using 'Parachoc' to ease her discomfort. I will start adding metamusel to her diet but donk know if the Parachoc is a good substitute for mineral oil. it is a liquied parafin wax product.

Kellt,
You are not from the US, I take it. In the US we call it mineral oil, out of the US the same thing is frequently called "liquid parafin".
Remember that ANY form of fiber will work for this protocol. The only reason I have recommended ground psyllium seed husks (Metamucil) is that it is the cheapest.
Let us know how she does. I hope she is not "suffering from stoll witholding". :o)

Hi Kellt,
We have very recently overcome the same problem with our 3½ year-old. The mineral oil/fibre combination was a miracle for us ... after 1½ years of withholding he is now not only pooping every day, but he goes to the toilet by himself to do it. And just one month ago we were ready to take him to the hospital!
Anyway, I just wanted to recommend a fibre supplement called Benefibre (I'm in Canada, don't know if it exists where you are ... )
So good luck. I hope you will have the same result as we've had.

Thanks, Lisa.
The Benefiber is one of the soluble fibers on the market.
