Hello:
Heart disease kills 60,000 MORE women than men each year. That's because heart disease is not easily detected in women.
Men's plaque will show up as noticeable "clumps" in standard tests, while women's plaque is evenly distributed and, therefore, does not show up on angiograms. Women may be told that they're fine when in fact, they could have serious heart disease.

They talked about it on Good Morning America today. It's a new medical revelation.
