Posted by Benny on March 20, 2003 at 21:15:20:

I suspect I have costo. I don't have pain but just feels more like inflamation in chest and under ribs makes it hard to elimate and upper back too. Can it just cause swelling without no pain

Hi, Benny.

You have hit upon a truism of bodily function: When things are working perfectly you do not know they are there! It is only when they are under dysfunction that your attention is called to that location. You may not call it pain yet but it is a signal and it is the same signal as pain would be.

This sounds like costo to me. If you have any doubts you will need a complete conventional medical workup. Let us know what you learn.

Walt
