I think I may have costochondritis, but no doctor is able to diagnose me. I'm skeptical because my symptoms seem slightly different from others'--the pain is primarily under my left breast, although there is a little tenderness at the sternum. Also, the pain is not excruciating, but more like arthritis. In addition, I am not very active and do not play sports. However, I am under a lot of stress. I have been cleared of having breast cancer or any heart problems, and chest x-rays were also negative. I have no morphological changes in the breast. Any advice? (I am an otherwise healthy 31 year-old female). Thanks.
