Heard it was good for gingivitis, periodontal problems, etc. If it's so good, then why don't more dentists recommend it to their patients? Money?

You should have seen the look on my dentist's face when I told him and my hygienist that Co Q10 in combination with vitamin C were to be credited for the improved appearance of my gums! Duh?!!

Yeah, Yancy.
When I told my dentist the reason my gums were so much better was because I had started taking high doses of vitamin C. He smiled and I could hear snickers all down the hall. Needless to say, I changed dentists.
Now, 20 years later (my gums continue to improve in spite of severe diabetes--to the amazement of my current dentist) a lot of dentists are recommending vitamin C for their periodontal patients. CoQ10 is just another antioxident in the antioxident cascade.
