Dr. Stoll: A neat medical/dental testimony

Posted by lovebird [6.2182] on March 31, 2006 at 16:26:36:

Two days ago we saw a dental specialist and we made an appointment for Thursday at 4 PM.

His game plan was to remove a back tooth, cut into a bridge and do the same thing on the other side.

He had taken x-rays previously and even thought a top tooth needed care.

So my husband and I went out to the grocery store for apple sauce, gauze pads, jellos, puddings and some cold drinks ahead of time planning for bleeding, recovery.

We got to the appointment and he took x-rays again and what happened next surprised him.

This was his statement: "last time you were here your gums were so red if I touched them they would bleed, but today is a totally different story, whatever you are doing with your health is working because your gums are pink and you have no plaque at all and I only have to remove one back tooth."

My husband I looked at each other and we were so surprised but we knew that our nutrition and health lifestyle changes caused this.

So he cut into some of the bridge and the tooth came out easily.

When the shots wore off later that night I was a little sore. Applied ice and guess what Dr. Stoll...no bleeding at all, threw out the one gauze pad from the dental office, and I fell fine.No bleeding, swelling and no other gauze pad needed.

In the past I would bleed a lot, anemia would kick in, heart would flutter and all that..is now gone.

Isn't that neat?

My husband is really glad because all the cold snacky things are now his...he is funny.

So the dentist asked what we do everyday. We use power spinner tooth brushes and a water pick.

He said to keep it up and added that he didn't need to take out another back tooth at all and just to take care of an area in the front top.

I just had to tell you because I am sitting here feeling fine with no reactions and good recovery but in the past this would not be the case.

Isn't that neat? Change of lifestyle did this.

Sally:
I was stunned to have everything go so smoothly. I didn't even know the tooth was out..there wwere no probalems at all and we left within 20 minutes.

You are so right. This man love us and writes e-mails all the time and he needs a change of lifestyle so badly. I gave him printed materials, CDs for SR and he hasn't applied them to his life.

I had a negative mind set going into this because in the past I have bled a lot and all kinds of mess plus I heard things about bad teeth, infection affecting the heart and all (truthfully I need to turn off the negative, medical reports and listen to our bodies. )

When he said "we are done." Within minutes e were laughing together in our van amazed how far we have come.

You are right. the influence of doctors is so far reaching.

Jayne:
No not really one of the big ones...Crest. Colgate but the main reason for healthy gums and teeth is a rotary tooth brush he said and the water pick is only $29 at Kohls and it gets every bit of food out and stimulates your gums too.

He was amazed and said to keep that routine up.

Congratulations, Lovebird!

Just think, continuing the same will help even more over the next few years.
