manic depression

Dear Walt,

Do you have any suggestions for Manic-depression. A dear friends daughter has just been diagnosed with it after she tried to commit suicide. The daughter has had mood swings for years and has had counseling in the past. No one had diagnosed Manic-depression until now.

Thank you,

Emily

Dear Emily,

Manic Depression was among the first of the serious mental conditions that was tied directly to "Brain Allergies" and the chronic stress-effect storage in the hypothalamus (causing LGS) we discuss nearly every day on this BB.

THIS IS A TOTALLY UNNECESSARY CONDITION!

I would suggest several references:

1. Dr Philpott's book "Brain Allergies" (most recent edition)
2. Call the professional organization that discovered the connection first---Orthomolecular Health-Medicine, 2698 Pacific Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94115, Voice: (415) 922-6462, FAX (415) 346-4991 OR The Huxley Institute for Biosicial Research, American Academy of Orthomolecular Medicine, 16 Florence Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, Canada M2N 1E9, (416) 733-2112 or (800) 847-3802.
3. "Nutrition & the Mind" by Dr Gary Null (any healthfood store bookshelf)
4. MY book. Read the entire book for concept and THEN focus on the chapter about "Mood, Mind, Memory & Behavior".

THEN, if you still have questions, write again.

Walt
