Ever since changing my diet for the better, I noticed my own breath stinks. The worst time is at night, when I can barely stand to breathe while laying on my pillow because the smell of my own breath is so bad! Now, since beginning my deep tissue massage series, my breath is even worse. Last night, it was so bad I had to get up twice and just brush my teeth in order to try to go back to sleep. My mouth also tastes as though I have been vomiting. This is terrible! I've never experienced anything like it.
OK, I realize that this MUST be my body releasing tons of toxins. Even just sitting here right now, drinking water, I can smell my stinky breath.
How long will this last AND is there anything I can do? Do I need some sort of flush-out?

I don't have a tongue scraper, but I have brushed my tongue with my toothbrush. The stench is coming from way down deep (digestive tract?). I don't believe it is originating in my mouth. Of course, I feel the urge to continually clean out my mouth because of the taste and the breath problem. Even with my mouth completely clean, the foul odor is coming from the breath itself, and again builds up in my mouth.

Congratulations, Kathy!
Just think, you have been carrying around all that stuff in every cell in your body for years. What a load! This detox will even get worse with the massages. However the massages will shorten the time you would have had this with the diet alone.
Awareness is the first step to freedom. "Tis the bonds of which we are unaware that are the most binding of them all."
Seems that that quote in in my book.
