Am interested in supplementation or any complementary therapy where one has experienced benefit when dealing with diabetic retinopathy. Am curious as to exact amounts of supplements.

Jerusalem artichokes have natural insulin in them. Eat several times a week.

Hi, Nancy.
For treatment, I have used CoEnzyme Q10 (100 milligrams twice a day) along with 50 milligrams of elementel zinc (once a day), 3000 milligrams of omega 3s (twice a day), 2000 milligrams of esterified vitamin C and 400 units of mixed tocopherols vitamin E (twice a day), successfully.
I have prevented my own in just this way (more than 20 years) but did not have to use the CoQ10 for prevention.
Let us know what happens.
Walt
