In Reply to: found a source of barley diastatic malt powder, but Beth's book says use only wheat - my living situation is such that I can't do the homegrown on a screen variety that Walt suggested - any other sources/suggestions out there? posted by dfs on July 26, 2001 at 13:09:34:
Hi, dfs.
ANY kind of diastatic malt works fine. Barley would work even better if the person was hypersentsitive to wheat.
Where is this available from?
Hope this helps.
Walt
