What do you all eat for breakfast who are on PWFD/candida diet!!!?? I'm panicked to think I can't eat my oat flakes, Brown rice crispies before work anymore. I only have 1/2 hour to gobble something down & put together my lunch before I have to leave for work. I'm up at 5:00 and out the door by 6:30. Seems like this meal business is stressing me out more than when I'm at work.

I have success with making lunch the night before - don't know what to say about the breakfast issues.

Here are some options:
Hard boiled eggs
Cheese on hardtack (I think that Beth allows Wasa Crisp and Finn Crisp on the PWFdiet)
Plain yogurt
I ran into the same problem you're having, although I was only trying the Whole Foods diet, not the Perfect Whole Foods diet.
All my best,
Daisy

Here is what I eat:
Brown rice cake - tosted with raw nut butter like almond, hemp, peanut, cashew.
Eggs
buckwheat grains - boiled & simmered. Pour in un-homoginized milk & topped with raw yorgult with some berries
Canned tuna - for lunch
Tuna salad - for breakfast
Steamed broccoli -for breakfast
Baked sweet potato - you can carry it in tinfoil
Leftover dinner -for breakfast or lunch
Brown rice balls stuffed with tuna salad - you can wrap'em up in tinfoil
...To name a few, it is not that hard.
Good luck!

Garden of Life.com has an awesome recipe for a synergy protein shake made from goats kefir and several other awesome ingredients. Look under the recipe section at the website. I believe this is an ideal breakfast.
It would be wise to remember that all grains contain anti-nutrients that will cause absorbtion problems and digestive sress if not neutralized. This is accomplished through the use of pre-soaking. Nourishing Traditions contains many great recipes for breakfasts that are easy to digest and assimilate not to mention delicious. I would highly recommend the book.
One's health is not based upon what you eat but what you absorb and assimilate. Almost every processed food has drawbacks in this area including so called healthy boxed cereals. For those with compromised digestive systems, it is essential to consume easily digested foods such as those are lacto-fermented and raw. Again the book Nourishing Traditions will provide alot of information in this area. HY is another resource in the area of optimum digestion. I recommend you read many of his posts.
Hope that helps.

Hi, Confused.
Perfect is only needed while one is breaking the refined carbohydrate addiction or treating candida. Once one is well just a WFD is sufficient for most people after about 6 months.
Hope this helps.

My children's NAET/Bioset doctor recommends that everybody take enzymes with each meal to increase absorption and improve digestion. He said that we're not getting proper nutrition because of all the processed foods, and taking enzymes is a necessity to absorb and assimilate the food we eat.

What if we don't eat the processed foods...then would we still need the enzymes? I do fine without them now that i'm eating whole foods!

Yes, I would agree with this statement. A whole foods diet along with plenty of raw and lactofermented foods would provide optimal nutrition wihtout the use of enzyme supplemets.
