Thanks, Misty.
No wonder the PTB are doing everything they can to water down the definition
of "organic" and classify any of the effective foods as drugs!

I believe what the article says is true. That's part of the reason of having organinc farming in the first place.
However, after buying organic (of everything food-related) for many years, I have come to realize that although organic dry foods (such as grains, beans, nuts and seeds) are fresh enough and acceptable from either stores or mail order, fresh vegetables are almost never good if they are bought from stores, especially fresh greens, most of which are wilted, lifeless, lacking the vital energy the SHOULD exist in the food we eat.
So the best way of enjoying crispy fresh veggies is to plant your own. Given the relative large space in this country--each house has a backyard, a front yard, and "side yards," it seems odd that not many people bother to plant their own vegetables, especially the leafy greens variety, since they are extremely easy to grow--virtually maintance-free, and are the food people should eat everyday.
So far in my experiment with food and health, I've found that freshly picked, home-grown veggies without using any chemicals are the BEST food for the bodymind. I wish more people would be interested in this easy approach to wellness and health.

its the same PR that says manufactured drugs are "medicine" and naturally-occuring nutrients are "alternative medicine."
here's another one: "War" is "Peace."

I agree, Bing.
However, you know how most people are about having to put out effort.

This may reflect the balance between adequate nutrition in the form
of fertilizers and external pest pressures because of the lack of
pesticides and herbicides," Mitchell explained. (ANI)
