I have been on the Whole Foods Diet now for approximately 3 weeks. Gradually "perfecting" the diet, as i seek more whole foods with NO sugar. I have finally found bread made at a local market without any sugar or honey, or molasses! I have felt exceedingly great! No more low blood sugar, or mood swings... I have also the last two weeks begun exercising 5 days a week in the morning for 1 hour. But the most remarkable thing, is my sleep. I typically needed at least 8.5-10 hours of rest a night to function well the next day. As I have learned more about serotonin and the need to have regular hours of rest, I now go directly to bed at 10:00pm and up at 6:30am. NO COMPROMISING! It has taken about 3 weeks for my body to adjust to this schedule, but now as a result of perhaps the diet and exercise, I have been arising instead at 5:00am! and am more alert than ever before during the day. This is absolutely remarkable. Im not fully certain why this has occured, but wanted to offer this to anyone who wishes to amplify their health. Perhaps someone can lend some medical wisdom on the importance of regimented sleep?

According to some, going to bed before midnight (better by 10 pm) promotes best adrenal restoration. And adrenals have so much to do with coping with stress, hormonal balance, mental performance, and overall health.

Yes, the efforts were definitely worth while, as i've always regarded myself as a healthy eater, I never thought that total elimiation of refined products would produce such results.
