Dr. Stoll
I read in the whole foods diet book, that I cant have any fruit for three to six months, but then someone here was saying I could have apples and berries. So which one is it?

I don't follow Beth's diet rigidly. I find that many people that have only mild to moderate dysbiosis can handle a serving of berries or granny smith apple per day. However, if you are trying to break a refined carbohydrate addiction, avoiding all fruit is a must because even the natural sugars keep you craving the refined foods.

Hi, Jemma.
Depends upon what you are trying to accomplish with the diet.
Perhaps that is why you are confused.
That is why the more you can understand about the process the better you will be able to choose what will do you the most good.
Listen to HY.
IF you are trying to beat a refined carbohydrate addiction, or a candida problem, you are going to have to avoid fruits for about 6 months. If you do not have those problems I would not worry about fruits.
Hope this helps.
