I was in Yellowstone National Park about 4 years ago.
What an amazingly beautiful place.
I spent two weeks their and probabaly felt the best that i have ever felt in years.
I ate breakfast at....... oops i am getting way off the subjet, must be my ADD.. just joking, sort of.
SERIOUSLY THOUGH:
There is a DISEASE IN YELLOWSTONE which affects a type of ground Marmot or some such animal / call the park for the exact animal info ??
This animal is about the size of a large cat and was observed to have erratic & agressive behavior as well as depressed sickly behavior, which had never been observed in the park prior to the 1970's I beleive.....
The animal also showed deterioration of its coat and loss of hair and other health problems.
Medical examinations came up empty.
Then they realized the disease was only infecting the population that inhabited the regions that surrounded hotels, motels, lodges and campgrounds.
Further investigation immediaiely prompted the Park to install WARNING SIGNS that it is ILLEGAL to feed these cute animals ANY HUMAN FOODS!!!!!
Our American diet was making these animals ILL, not only emotionally but physically as well.
When people care about themselves and love themselves they will care about the environement and they will care for and love children.
I think their were more than a few park officials who wanted to simply shoot and kill all those sick animals, before they learnd the truth of their eating habits.
Anyone see a connection here ?????

Yes, a very good illustration of solving a problem by killing (truly or metaphorically) the person (or animal) that has it. And, at the same time, the genuine importance of diet to behavioral problems. You are very analytical!

Lisa M.
Thanks.
I like your input too.
I suppose Ritilan or other drugs could be considered to metaphorically, albeit, pharmacologically "kill" who the person is or could become, with proper diet.
Such drugs are sometimes used as magic bullets, similar to the bullets the park officials wanted to use to kill off the unsightly marmots with.
Good thing common sense and a little love cured the Yellowstone Park problem.
Now, if only people could learn how to treat their children as well as animal lovers and a good vet.
What a world this would be.......
P.S. I like to think of myself as logically artistic.
I am really just a kid at heart and we all know that nothing gets past the common sense mind of a kid.
Well.. almost nothing :)
Nice to hear from you.
Be well

Thanks, SR.
People tend to see what they want to see. Things have to be REALLY bad for people to change what they think they already know. See my quote by Epictetus, yesterday.
