On that same website with the castor oil packs is another website. It's on Foods that heal.
Like your opinion on this specific website.

Hi Paulette,
You didn't ask MY opinion, but here it is anyway :-). It's a great website with much useful info. For instance, I read with much interest about Bentonite - which I have used in the past but never knew exactly what it was and all the other benefits of it. I think I'll take some of that for a couple of weeks.
And I really want to do a liver cleanse but the one by Hulda Clark discourages me, because she says one must do the Parasite cleanse and the kidney cleanse first. I did her liver cleanse many years ago along with the whole regiment she recommends. But now I just don't feel like doing all that. I wonder if it is okay to do the liver cleanse just by itself. What are YOU going to do?
Anyway this site, in my opinion, is a great resource. Thanks for mentioning it!

Hi, Rosemarie
Welcome your opinion of the site and glad that you find it a great resource. Found it under the original site for Castor Oil Packs in my files under:
http://home.online.no/~dusan/cures/castoroil.html
which I shared with Doug on earlier post.:-)
The Hulda Clark liver cleanse was the only one I thought had on file back in December of 99. Planned on doing the parasite cleanse in order to do the liver cleanse, however, felt discouraged about having to do both.
Know that John Counts advised it's better to do parasite cleanse first, but can't remember why. Due to my present situation feel a need to do the liver cleanse prior to my 08/25/00 GYN follow up from the Endometrical Biopsy this past week. Need to do some healing and AVOID any possibility of requiring surgery. Have a fear of hospitals and surgery. It bugs me to go to the hospital in order to have PT sessions and the Pain Management Care Center wing. The PCC shares the same wing of the 5th floor as the GYN/OB ward as it is. Shared the elevator on one day going to a PT session with my GYN doctor, which spooked the heavens out of me. (freaky!)
Plan to do the parasite cleanse as well, however, Feel Urgency in completing liver cleanse first. Will go and get the castor oil and use towells instead of flannel. A few months ago I attempted at getting a kit, only managed to waste my time and neglected to do the liver cleanse.
Hope this helps you and good luck. It's about time I become a doer of this cleanse instead of a talker. A lot of time has past since December and I'm still talking about the cleanse. Thankfully, Doug brought up this subject at this particular time. If given a chance, I'll give you a thousand reason on why I won't be able to do this. Not this time and No Mas! (no more)
Take Care Of Yourself & Good Luck

Paulette,
I also found the site to be an interesting one and it seems quite useful. I bookmarked it so I can check it out when I have the time!
As far as the castor oil packs - I think for some reason it's important to use flannel. But I don't know why you'd need a kit - I've seen the pre-cut flannel at the health food store and it's really expensive for a few square feet of material. Can't you just go to a fabric store and buy a piece there? It should be easy enough to find a non-dyed piece of wool flannel (or is it cotton?). The other thing is, I think towels would soak up WAY too much oil - you'd have to use gallons! That would be more expensive then too...

Hi, Trish
Not very much, but I'm learning little by little. Live in a 95% hispanic community in South Florida. Plan on taking classe espanoel en escuella. (spl?)

but I've forgotten a lot of it...

I've used the castor oil pack in the past and have always been wondering about the importance of flannel - cotton or wool. Maybe someone can clear up that mystery for us.
At one time I did buy the one in the healthfood store and it IS expensive. Unfortunately lost it during our last move.
Here's another idea: I like to roam thrift stores (Salvation Army, etc.) and have often wondered if getting a soft, all wool sweater there to cut up and use would do. (Very cheap solution, if it works!) I'm not sure whether there is a difference between a wool "flannel" and a soft thin wool sweater. (one is scratchy, the other not????) I do know that real wool is very resistant to any liquids - which may be one reason to use it. This of course is not the case with cotton - just that cotton flannel is softer than plain cotton. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE REASON FOR USING FLANNEL?
Another suggestion is to just cut up an old Flannel shirt or sheet.
Always looking for better ways......

Hi,Trish
I would be easier for you to pick it back up than me learning spanish. Imagine how much valuable it would be for you to be bi-lingual job wise and personal.
You never forget, just get ouf of practice. Too bad I didn't take spanish in High School as my Dad told me I had to. Took German and don't remember much.

Hi Rosemarie,
I've gotten the impression that the answer to, "Why flannel?" is supposed to be sort of a mystery.
The answer, coming from Cayce himself might be, "Because I said so." or "That's what works best."
WWWWOOOOooooooooooooooooooooh!
