dr.stoll/DMSO & usage

dr. stoll, i have an avulsion fracture of the lateral epicondyle. you have told me before of the benefits of dmso and would like to use it in this circumstance, but am not sure how to. i have swelling and am currently (as of yesterday)taking FYI from garden of life. can i take the two together? can i take dmso along with my other supps? wouldn't it just enhance the benefits of other supps? okay now, how much do i use/take? is it ever applied TO the skin for anything or is it always ingested? one other thing, how do i know for sure if the dmso i have purchased at the health food store is the medical kind and NOT the industrial kind?

you have it backwards...you ONLY apply it topically, do not ingest it...

It CAN be ingested for some conditions, but in this case, topical would surely be the most effective.

Hi, Leesa.

Topical application of a 50% gel, several times a day is how I would treat this. It can be used with nearly anything and surely with those things you mentioned.

Healthfood store grade IS pharmaceutical grade.

There are great primers about this at the library.

Just a few examples: systemic scleroderma, many intestinal conditions, esophageal strictures, polyarthritic involvement, generalized fibromyositis.
