I think there is some info on this site about the proper way to do a vinegar douche. I think that's what Dr. Stoll recommends. Have you tried vinegar douches? Might do a search while you wait for him to reply.

Read the following article (a book chapter). Its author says that his patients' vaginal yeast problems went away after instestinal candida overgrowth was solved. With colon therapy, he says, this can be done pretty quickly.

Acidopholis vitamins...I had a chronic problem for about two
years. It was HORRIBLE and would in turn cause track
infections. I went to about four different gyno. and
finally I was treated while at the same time told to start
taking these pills. It worked beautifully. Plus, can you
figure out where the problem is coming from. I was allergic
to lubrications and spermicides. Took two years for them to
figure it out. Maybe you are experiencing a similar
prob

I tried the vinegar/acidphilus treatment and it worked for me! AFter having a yeast infection for over a month, I havent had one in 3 months!

I first used a vinegar douche by just getting some distilled vinegar from my kitchen and mixing it with plenty of warm water. I then used a syringe to inject it in my vagina. I did this a few times so the acidity would remove any yeast. I then inserted liquid acidophilus (which i bought from the health food store) as opposed to the capsules that have around 2 billion bacteria per capsule, this "drink" has 50 billion. I did this for a few nights, to witness instant relief each morning. I continued this for a week and Im pleased to say that I am cured. Infact, I've been yeast-free for around 2 weeks. I also cut down on my sugar and yeast intake.

I've heard the vinegar douche is essential to allow the bacteria to actually have a chance to be established.

- Only use the vinegar douche on the first day.
- I just used a baby oral syringe to insert the vinegar - although this website recommended using a douching device...whatever that is. Apparently, it inserts much more volume, which then causes the vagina wall to stretch so the acidity can reach all the tiny crevices. She should try getting a douching device....
- A syringe is adequate for the liquid acidophilus.
- If the vinegar stings, add more water....
- If she can not find any liquid acidophilus, buy the pills (they may seem pricey at $22 a bottle, but consider the price of monistat), open a few of them and mix a little yogurt with the powder....Use this as your "liquid acidophilus". Take the rest of the pills orally...Ive heard that can help as well.

I remember reading it, but I'm sorry I don't remember the specific instructions. Shouldn't be too hard to find though. I use natural suppositories given to me by my alternative doc.
