Excessive sweating

Posted by Cindy on April 13, 2002 at 02:11:56:

i have always had heavy sweating in the armpits. lately it is worse than ever. it doesn't matter what type of B.O. juice I use, nothing seems to help. can it be because of candida or lgs that everyone is always posting about on this board? or does anyone no of something i can use for it. its embarassing.

Hi, Cindy.

It is more likely due a stage on the progression to the well known condition: hyperhidrosis.

About the only thing that can cause this is a genetic susceptibility to this end point produced by the storage of chronic stress-effect in the hypothalamus. Be happy the end point is so benign; it could be colitis, psoriasis, hypertension, etc.

See the home page about stress to begin to understand and go to the glossary for any unfamiliar terms.

The only known cure (so far) is serious SR for 6-12 months.

Let us know how you do.

Walt
