Since 2002 I have been having unexplained fainting
spells . When I " Pass Out " my blood pressure drops
very low and the people with me say I am usually out
anywhere from 2 - 18 minutes. This last time, I was out
and rushed to the ER , when I was out I was behaving
very abnormal and I did not know where I was .. My wife
said It was like I was delusional .... The ER people
could not tell me what was wrong .Whats really scary is
I am 29 years old and in pretty good shape. I have
made three ER trips to three different Hospitals in North
& South Carolina. All the tests have come back great..
Today 6/3/03 I had some neck imaging done. Could
this possiblly be a clogged neck artery causing me to
have the attacks ? Oh, now that I am doing this
research, I have noticed over the past year that I have
these small red spots running down my legs were my
veigns run... Could that be a sign of clotting or
something being clogged in the neck ?

where balance comes from? I had vertigo once which was from fluid in my inner ear and though I didn't pass out others who have had it too did.

Don't want to alarm you at all, but obviously when you pass out it seems it is because your blood pressure drops too low. I would look at the heart first to see if it is pumping sufficiently. Some people have these blackouts because they need a pacemaker.
I only say all this because I have read about people who black out and it sometimes means they need this device.
Be guided by what Walt says.
Hope you get help soon.

Hi, Trevor.
Since all of your check-outs have been normal, this is dysautonomia. See the glossary and the archives.
That means that serious wellness will cure this in less than 6 months.
Let us know what you learn and how you do.
