My sister-n-law, a nurse, was advised to deliver her children csect because her doctor felt that due to her bodys histamine reaction(dermatopgraphia) to physical stressors(fingernails across the skin etc.) that the trauma from deliver could cause her entire body to shock and swell. She has 3 children, 1 of the boy has been diagnosed with dermatographia.
As with any condition, My opinion is to start SR.. and look to the small intestion for the answer to your dermatograpia.. as you have probably discovered.. there are foods that can trigger episodes, or make it worse(Potatoes, Bacon, ham lunchmeat and other processed stuff)
Just curious.. do you know your blood type and( every person I have ever met with dermatographia was an O pos)

Hi P,

Interesting about the possible connection between O blood types and dermatographia. I used to have dermatographia and I'm type O. I wonder if it has to do with increased susceptibility to candida & related conditions (I used to have hives, candida, still have rosacea, etc.) in blood type O, or if there are other factors at play.

Hi, Suman.

ALL dermatographia is caused by dysautonomia (see the glossary and archives). Let us know what you learn.

First of all thanks a lot Dr. Walt for such a immediate response

Suman,

Always go to the glossary for any unfamiliar terms and then to the home page or the archives to flesh out the rest of that subject. Get the "Relaxation and Stress Reduction Workbook" suggested in the SR home page and archives.

Ask your health food store owner about the Balanced B-100 formula.
