Hi Walt, Is there any information on this site about tinnitus? A friend of mine is dealing with it.... and it reminded me that I also have. I just have accepted it as a fact of life as it has been going on so long. I attribute mine to the years of ibuphrophen I took to cope with my structural pain. I looked for it in the health topics and articles section and could not see it listed. Any insight into dealing with it holistically would be greatly appreciated...and you pretty well know what I am already doing in terms of wellness.

Dear Denise,

Most any holistic practitioner (MD. DO, Chiropractor, Naturopath, Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Ayurvedic Practitioner, Homeopath, etc.) would be able to help you with the history & physical they are all taught to give.

Onc of the most commonly missed causes of tinnitus is structural. TMJ is a common cause. Plagiocephaly is an aven more common cause. Doc Dave can tell you of many of the other structural causes amenable to manipulation.

If this were me, I would look into the structural causes before the hidden physiological contributing factors that might have to be addressed.

Let us know how you do.

By the way, the very things you are already doing for wellness are very likely to also get rid of chronic tinnitus without anything else being done.

Hi Walt, Thank you once again for your wisdom. GEE WHIZ I didn't think about it being structural too. Intuitively I have thought that the wellness program would help, but really didn't put all the pieces together. I doubt that my friend would buy into this holistic mumbo jumbo for herself, but I am sure glad that it spurred me to ask you about it.

PS: I guess that means I should read about that eraser trick that you have spoken about and start practicing, eh? I'm telling ya sometimes it takes awhile for things to soak in but eventually I GET IT :-) or is it :-(
