eustacian tube blockage

Last year I contracted a viral and bacterial infection in my inner ears and sinuses. I have been diagnosed with liquid in my eustacian tubes that will not drain. This liquid is dark in color and trapped. I have seen various medical practitioners including homeopaths, accupuncturists, chiropractors, ear specialists, etc. I get no results. As a result of this viral attack, last October, I am left with hearing loss and intense sinus pressure at all times accompanied by buzzing and high pitched sounds in my ears at all times. I was treated over a period of the last 6 months with various antibiotics and bacterial medications, accupuncture and other remedies with little or not results. I have all my doctors stumped and I am suffering. How can I get rid of this thing? Can you help?

Hi Stephanie,

I hope you get something done soon.
That fluid can cause arthritis and cartilage damage in the bones of your inner ear. That can lead to permanent
hearing loss (if you don't already have it)

An ear nose and throat specialist can install shunt tubes in the eustacian tubes to drain the area. This ia a common procedure in children with hearing difficulties, so don't
fear it. Just do it.

Good luck

Hi, Stephanie.

The amazing thing, to me, is that it seems that no one has suggested to you that allergy might be the cause. The fact is that persistant congestion like this is, in more than 90% of the cases, directly related to hypersensitivity to dairy or wheat (or both) and all this other stuff was tried first.

My suggestion would be to TOTALLY eliminate both from your diet for at least a month and let us know what you experience. After all this you may actually have scarring that will limit your results but you at least will begin to see results by then if this is the basic cause.

If only you had seen a knowledgeable physician in the beginning--in MY opinion.

Walt
