My girlfriend has been diagnosed with exostosis (bone growth) in both ears. This is to be surgically sorted in a few months, but in the meantime, she is having bad ear infection problems. She tells me that her ears have always had problems with discharge and related hassles. She has just had a coarse of antibiotics via drip in hospital (4 nights) to clear up the latest infection. The ears are unable to be syringed, because the canal is so small. She was prescribed drops at an earlier time, but they caused burning sensation. The next drops were Tobrex, but dont seem to solve the problem. When not infected, they have a clear liquid discharge, that seems a lot from an ear.
As well as this she has fungii on all her fingernails, and tinea on a large skin area under her small toe and onto foot (fairly deep). Her toenails appear ok. She has been prescribed Griseostatin, for 3 months for finger nails, and scrapings have been taken, no results yet.
Today she has started the vinegar on her fingers.
Now to the question, is it possable that all these problems related, and if so, what other "fixes" are there??

Hi, Brian.
Are these "exostoses" in her ear canals or within the ear bones themselves?
She needs to look into the new technology of ultrasonics to destroy, non-surgically, any abnormal calcium deposit in the body. This technology is identical to the ultrasonic approach to kidney stones that has replaced the surgical approach for the past 20 years.
So fas as I know, there is no connection between her conditions. However, you need to know that every time I have said that in the past, eventually someone has discovered a connection.
Let us know what she learns.

The extosis is in her ear canals, narrowing them so much, that syringing is impossable. Hence my question, because of no natural way for dead skin etc to be removed, I thought all that could cause fungi growth in her inner ear , as she is already prone to fungi, with fungus on all her fingernails, and tinea between small toes on feet. Are all the fungi symptoms related????

Hi, Brian.
The fungi are all related but not to the exostoses (which are genetic). SO, the solution to the exostoses is the ultrasonic technique which will have to be repeated every few years as they continue to recur--or until other preventable causes are discovered. The fungus is more complicated and you will have to use the archives, search engine and glossary to learn about that.
