my daughter was diagonosed with ebv 2 years ago.
the first symptom was a seizure then she was diagnosed with lesions on her brain causedby the epstein-barr virus
this was causing the seizures. one of the lesions wason the part of the brain that affects short term memory. she had no short term memory for several months it is better but not right still. now she is getting a rash and swollen lips almost daily. she is on 5 different seizure meds daily
and still has small seizures. please help!!!!!!

First, go to the archives link I have prepared for you below and spend a few hours. THEN, if you want to know more, go to the bulletin board and scroll through as much as you need. We are more than 6 months behind on archiving so there are more than 12,000 notes, unarchived, on the BB.
Obviously, the first thing is to get rid of the EBV. See the IV vitamin C. Next, is to get rid of WHY the person has the susceptibility and deal with that. It is MOST likely that it is that suscpetibility that caused the "complications" and not the virus.
