I just received test results back that my EBV CAPSID AB (IGG) is 6.55 Positive. The reference range indicates 0.00-0.90. My ob/gyn did this blood work and suggested I contact my general practioner. My ob/gyn said I had mono some time in my past.
Here's the catch. I've been feeling very weak, fatigued, dizzy and tired. What does this test result mean? Do I have mono or did I have it?
Help.

Hi, Marj.
What difference does it make whether this diagnosis is correct or not? Conventional medicine has no treatment anyhow. Your recommended treatment will be the same regardless of the outcome of the test. One of the first things we were taught in medical school was: If the outcome of the test is not going to influence the treatment, DO NOT DO THE TEST!
First, you need a different way of thinking about this. Start with the archives about EBV, fibromyositis, CFS, and the associated conditions. Use the glossary for any unfamiliar terms.
Then write again with what you have learned and any more questions you might have.
