Gregory - if you aren't already aware of it I thought you might be interested in the work a friend is doing on the human Assemblage Point. She is probably the foremost authority in the UK at this point.

I am going to have to look into this more closely, but at the moment I have to take exception
to Dr. Blacean statement that "It seems likely that through the assemblage point energy
enters the body, whereas at the chakras energy leaves the body."In fact, the chakras
are transceivers both receiving and
transmitting energy and information. There are also as many as ten egg-shaped bodies around the
physical body, the closest being the etheric or "blueprint" body. This is the body where changes
to the gross or physical body first show up. I am wondering if it is this body which she is
inadvertantly accessing in her energy work. I think that her dismissal
of the chakras as transmission
only shows not only a bias towards her own work, but insufficient study of the chakras
themselves. Still, there is some intriguing aspects to her work, so it bears so further study.
