Laser light for tissue healing?

When I saw my chiropractor yesterday, since my back was out of whack, we also talked about the cancer surgery on my great toe. It hasn't been healing fast enough, or so it seems to me. I had squamous cell carcinoma removed a month ago, which was only skin deep. However, the Oncologist's cut was fairly deep, and a skin graft was sewn on top of the hole.

The toe was still swollen and possibly infected when the bandages were take off a week later. They have used various oral antibiotics, thinking it may have been infected. They have also used various topicals.... the latest is Silvadene cream..... this seems to be working better, though it still seems slow to me.

My chiropractor asked if she could use her laser light on it, and I ageed.... I've seen her on and off over a 10 year period and trust her. It looked similar to the lasers college professors use during lectures to point out items on graphs, etc. Although, this one was attached to some sort of meter. The red beam was shown on the wound for maybe a minute, and she suggested I come back every day (for this treatment) untill she goes on vacation. There will be no charge for this treatment. I've never heard of using this type of bean to help tissue heal and regenerate, and am not sure where to start looking on the internet.

Anyone heard of using this type of treatment?

Susan - this is even more effective if used with the appropriate gems. Have a look at the link below for more information. This technique has been pioneered in the UK, but there are probably practitioners in the USA by now. Email me if you need any help finding them. The person whose site I have directed you to is a close friend, and I know that she has had many successes with cancer and also skin problems. One that springs to mind was when she worked on a cat with feline leukaemia who had an ulcer on its leg which wouldn't heal. Just a couple of treatments later it was fine, avoiding amputation of the leg.

We have a LLLT portable, small, battery operated infrared laser unit that I use daily on all or any arthritic sites,(like my five discs that are degenerated) as well as for any fresh injury. Broken bones also heal well - double speed when my friend used laser on her second broken ankle.
LLLT = low level laser therapy

Yes, I rented a unit for several weeks from my holistic vet to use on my cat with chronic ear yeast infection. While I had it, I used it on everything in sight, including my hip area tendinitis, my chronically painful neck, my tender heel, my husband's chronic rash, and my mom's fractured hip joint. It was a portable battery operated/plug-in unit with different settings, depending on whether you wanted to heal surface wounds, connective tissue, muscles, bones, or stimulate circulation and lymphatic systems.

The device/treatment has apparently been used by NASA for healing on space flights.

Some key words to search on: photon resonator, light-emitting diode therapy, light therapy, phototherapy, soft lasers, low-energy (power, level) lasers

Hope it helps you!

Hi, Susan.

Welcome to 21st century medicine. This is the "Vibrational Medicine" I have been talking about on this website for at least 8 years. Those in the know say that the 21st century will be the century of vibrational medicine like the 20th was of pharmaceutical medicine.

See the archives for energy healing for more instances.

Listen to Nutmeg, LMD, Sue & Gregory. I am very glad to see the practical application of this being applied in so many places. Of course, MDs are still calling it quackery since it does not require a medical license to use one: Too much competition to the monopoly!

Let us know how you do.

Walt
