Bad luck house!

Posted by Tom on February 21, 2003 at 19:21:53:

About 8 years ago my wife and I moved in this house. About 3 months after we moved in we started having all kinds of problems, Work/boss, accidents, health, family, etc. Can this house have bad Feng Shui. I have a power pole/transformer and high voltage power lines less then 15 feet from my house. Any ideas on this bad luck house?

Hi, Tom.

I would not live close to any power lines. For those who ar hypersensitive to electromagnetic influences, this could be your entire problem. If you can afford it, I would suggest renting an apartment far from power lines and see how you are in a month or so.

Let us know.

Doctor Stoll

How does one know if one is hypersensitive to power lines? What signs would one look for?

We live close to them as well. We could move to an area that doesnt have them, but they tend to be quite expensive. Gee, and I wonder why that is?!

We are planning to sell soon, and buy elsewhere, so I take it this is one of the things I should be looking for. There are some suburbs with underground power.

Dr Stoll
I cant aford to move. I see devices sold on the internet that protect you from electronic EMI by generating a small amount of "Good" EMI in the 8 herts range. Do these devices work???

If you are open to the idea of feng shui, maybe you will consider the idea of a house that is cursed or haunted.

The essence of feng shui is based on experiences and common sense that can be backed by science and reason, in the same way that acupuncture and other traditional Chinese medicine are effective for human health. But just like everything else, feng shui can also be abused to an extreme, especially for an audience in this country, who are unfamiliar with the fundemental ideas of feng shui.

A house close to a source of strong EMF is indeed bad feng shui because it's against nature and thus harmful for our health and our natural environment. Similarly, houses close to busy highways, power plants, busy shopping centers, all have bad feng shui because the noise and pollution from those areas can be harmful. So there is nothing mystic about feng shui--simply an observance of the natural orders of life.

Thanks, Yowsa.

It would take a SQUID machine to prove it. See page 22 in my book. Since this science is in it's infancy another way to find out is to find a applied kinesiologist, who can do it accurately, and be tested that way. See the glossary for any unfamiliar terms and then the archives for more information. You might also be interested in the electromagnetic smog archives.

It was just reported in the medical literature that cell phone radiation is proven to destroy brain cells in rats at commonly used levels.

Thanks, Tom.

These devices come in personal sizes to carry around with you and house ones that need to be plugged in. I carried one of the personal ones for years but since I was too healthy to have any symptoms I never knew how much it helped.

Theoretically they should work and since my little personal one cost me less than $20 (30 years ago) and at the time the house ones cost only about $30 (yes I had one of them too) they should not cost much more now. They are like computers, they should keep getting cheaper over the years.

We do not know that this is your problem yet only that is a likely stressor.

Let us know how you do.

Walt
