Exercise

Posted by Happygal on July 10, 2002 at 12:43:50:

Hi Again Walt,

Is it okay to exercise every day, or does the body need a complete rest sometimes?

It's easier for me to do a particular practice every day, then I don't skip it. I would like to do aerobics for 20 minutes every day. However doesn't the body need some down time?

Thanks,
Happygal Jan

Hi Happy! I have heard the only thing you really need to rest after is weight lifting. I do Taebo 45 minutes a day and ride my bike the same, every single day. I think it also has something to do with the way your body can handle it. Hope this helps :)

I agree with Hope on the weights, but you can probably do other stuff daily, if you feel up to it.

The time will come though, when you probably need a rest, take it and rejuvenate yourself.

Hi, Happygal.

I agree with Hope and Dan.

Statistically the most efficient technique (benefit/minute spent) is 3 times a week but more results will happen with every day with occasional skips.

Namaste`
